Still mixing in some photos I've been processing from way back in July. I really like the compositional possibilities of taking portraits with my ultrawide lens, and this is my favorite one so far.

So, the news of the week is that after months of frustration, I finally made a big leap in figuring out what made all of my California pictures lackluster, and it's something that I can more or less fix. Hopefully not having that bothering me in the back of my mind will help me get going again.

In which I pretend to be the_flea_king for a moment. These are the sort of mushrooms it's easy to imagine supporting a miniature city around their bases. If you look closely you might be able to see the 15th Century Italian architecture.

Realized after I left that I forgot to post this morning. It's still Sunday here.

This may go down as my only San Francisco photo. The whole staying in the City thing was pretty much entirely fail. Went South today and had a much better time.
